While LOST was on broadcast television, I always held it up as my intelligence test. If you weren’t watching LOST and/or you didn’t think it was worth your time and/or you didn’t understand it, you weren’t really intelligent enough for me to talk to.
Now that Lindeloff is literally having to explain the ending to people, my view has shifted. If you are one of the people who says, “They were dead the whole time! Nothing matters!” then you need to watch this interview. If you still say that after watching this and having it laid out word for word for you, then I’m of my original viewpoint.
